Introduce yourself to mead - the medieval era's most delicious contribution to humankind! Learn how it is made and taste a curated collection of classic and flavored meads. Avalon Faire features mead from RenMead, a Texas meadery. A friendly, knowledgeable representative from RenMead will host the tasting.
King's Feast: $55 (online only; no gate sales)
AFTER-HOURS EVENT: 7:00pm to 10:00pm, Saturday Evening, April 19, 2025; no Faire admission required to attend; 21+, IDs will be checked at the event.
The King's Feast is an elegant gathering held to honor King Arthur himself. This season our Feast takes place after the festivities of the Faire day have concluded, so you won't miss a single moment of enjoyment! As always, an all-you-can-eat and drink affair. Beer, mead, wine, soft drinks and water will be offered throughout the evening. Entertainment for your enjoyment and dancing will be on hand. Feast begins at 7:00 pm, with check-in starting at 6:45. No admittance after 7:15. Seating is open.* *if you have a group you would like seated together, please contact entertainment@avalonfaire.com to make arrangements.
Avalon After Dark: $45 online ($55 at the gate no food guaranteed)
AFTER-HOURS EVENT: 7:30pm to midnight, Saturday evening, April 26, 2025; no Faire admission required to attend; 21+, IDs will be checked at the event. Event area is restricted to The Hawkswood.
As the sun sets and the firelight flickers, Avalon comes alive with bold spirits and wild adventure! After Dark welcomes you to a 21+ night of mischief, merriment, and plenty of fun. Feast like a true tavern-goer on a spread of hearty faire, washed down with a mug of your favorite brew. MENU: Venison Stew, Seeded Oat Rolls with homemade butter, Hand Pies for dessert. The night continues with a wild mix of performances and games. Gather your friends and rule the night with magic, mayhem, and a little bit of mischief. 21+ only. All beverages are sold separately.
